Ondertussen zijn we 2,5 jaar verder en is er toch bar weinig gebeurd!! Er lagen kant en klaar plannen klaar om te gaan bouwen, tot op heden is daar nog stééds niks mee gebeurd.

Sinds enige maanden zijn er diverse aannemers bezig rondom het kleyburgplein om diverse leidingen ed. te vervangen en als laatste zal de straten rondom dit plein heringericht, worden zo ook de v/d Kooistraat, wij als inwoners van v/d Kooistraat hebben al jaren last van zwaar verkeer dat gebruik maakt van onze straat, dit is al vaker aangegeven door diverse bewoners uit onze straat maar daar is tot nu toe nooit enige aandacht aan gegeven. Nu de firma van Mourik daar binnen afzienbare tijd aan gaat beginnen is ons verzoek c.q. vraag of er een beperking kan worden ingesteld, aan het zware verkeer, wat betreft het aantal tonnage van deze vrachtwagens. Als voorbeeld noem ik maar de rode Blokker wagen die met zo'n grote wagen door de straat rijd dat wij elke keer weer moeten vrezen voor onze geparkeerde auto's en aangezien er maar aan een kant kan worden geparkeerd verzakt de straat zo zeer dat als het regent of heb geregend dat het opspattende regenwater zowat tegen ons voorramen gereden wordt en aangezien dat wij ook geen trottoir hebben geeft dit nog meer overlast. Er is toen met de bouw van het nieuwe winkelcentrum afgesproken dat deze zware vrachtwagens via de Dokter Slotstraat naar het winkelcentrum zouden rijden en bij het verlaten linksaf via de v/d Kooistraat en Dokter Slotstraat terug, maar nu gaat het via de Schoonenburglaan, Adriaan Heynenstraat, v/d Kooistraat zo naar het winkelcentrum wat dus bij ons overlast geeft want het is ook nog een twee richtingen straat. Onze huizen staan op houten palen en onze vloeren en plafons zijn ook van hout, je kan op je vingers na tellen hoeveel overlast deze zware vrachtwagens geven als deze door de straat rijden, het hele huis staat dan ook te schudden. De oplossing is er maar nu noch de medewerking. Wij hopen dat u hier aandacht wil geven zodat wij ondanks te toegenomen verkeersdrukte het voor ons ook leefbaar blijft.
